Debris entering a lifter is the main cause of failure.  Clean the top end of the engine to ensure no foreign debris can enter the lifters upon startup.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e 6. Inspect the Rocker Arms, Pushrods Ends, and Valve Tips for excessive wear.  Replace as necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e 7.
