CP-Carrillo Bullet LS pistons are designed specifically to fit all GM LS 15° heads (4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2L). Note on rod small end widths - These piston forgings have a minimum pin boss span of 1.060, this is because they also use a 2.250 long wrist pin, to this gives the wrist pin .595 of engagement In the pin bore. Many aftermarket rods including BTR's 6.125 LS rod set (BTRROD6125H1-8) have a small end width of 1.060 or more and will need to have the small end narrowed by a respectable machine shop by .080-.100" for proper fitment. Carrillo & Bullet rods use a .900-1.000 wide small end, so there is no need for additional small end clearancing.
