CP-Carrillo Bullet pistons are designed specifically to fit LS7 12° heads. Pistons are proudly made in the USA from 2618 forgings and are available with 5cc solid domes, -4.6 cc flat top, and -25cc dish. Pistons feature .220 deep intake pockets, 1.2mm steel gas nitride ring, 1.2mm Napier second ring, 3.0mm oil ring and include .927 x 2.250 pins with a .180 wall standard.

Note on rod small end widths - These piston forgings have a minimum pin boss span of 1.060, this is because they also use a 2.250 long wrist pin, to this gives the wrist pin .595 of engagement In the pin bore. Many aftermarket rods including BTR's 6.125 LS rod set (BTRROD6125H1-8) have a small end width of 1.060 or more and will need to have the small end narrowed by a respectable machine shop by .080-.100" for proper fitment. Carrillo & Bullet rods use a .900-1.000 wide small end, so there is no need for additional small end clearancing.
