BTR GEN V LT1 CONICAL SPRING KIT WITH TIP SAVERS - .650" - SK013/0560/BB/TS
 

We were first to market with a conical valve spring kit for Gen V LT engines. If your cam isn't too radical, a dual spring kit isn't required. These springs will vastly improve valvetrain stability at high RPM while still supporting up to .650" lift. This kit includes springs, locks, seals and locators. Uses stock retainers.

160 LB SEAT @ 1.875" INSTALL HEIGHT 
395 LB OPEN @ 1.225" 
COIL BIND @ 1.165"

- SP014-1 - Valve spring (QTY 16)
- SL505045CON-16 - Valve spring locator set (QTY 1)
- VS LS KIT - Valve seal kit (QTY 1)
- VL78MMBL-.075-16 - Valve lock set (QTY 1)
- SR014-1 - Steel Retainer for conical springs (QTY 16)

- 19302366 - Lash caps - Bag of 8 (QTY 2) 

LT4 engines require spring kit part number SK014.
Pushrod replacement is highly recommended. 

Due to the nature of the OEM scroll-type rocker arms, use of higher lift cams and higher-than-stock spring pressures can accelerate valve tip and rocker arm pad wear. BTR's new valve tip saver kit incorporates our newly designed BTR valve locks (and BTR retainers in certain applications) in conjunction with GM lash caps, to help save valve tips, eliminating costly repairs that require cylinder head removal and replacement of damaged valves.

NOTE - BTR does not recommend single wire conical or beehive springs with roller rockers due to the extra mass causing loss of valve train stability, or the use of a higher ratio rocker as it could possibly cause a coil bind issue. If you have a specific combination of valvetrain parts you are needing to use a roller rocker on, please call in to our sales team for clarification.

 NOTE: If you already have excessive wear on the rocker arm pad, you must replace these at the time of installation.

NOTE: The pushrod length must be verified to achieve the proper lifter preload due to the use of lash caps.
