This camshaft offers an aggressive idle with great midrange and top end capability. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUnlike other kits that require expensive aftermarket cam cores and timing covers to eliminate the VVT phaser \u0026amp; solenoid, we designed this kit to allow the use of a special cam sensor designed to work with the OEM timing cover available in our\u003ca tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/briantooleyracing.com\/btr-gen-v-lt-vvt-lockout-kit.html\"\u003e 3 BOLT VVT LOCKOUT KIT\u003c\/a\u003e, which allows you to use this specially machined 3 bolt Gen V camshaft with an LS3 cam gear and retain the factory Gen V VVT front cover.
