BTR 400+ NITROUS CAMSHAFT V2

This camshaft is the result of dyno testing on 400+ cubic inch engines, mostly using TFS cathedral port heads and AFTERMARKET HI FLOW intake manifolds.  Will work equally well with Cathedral or Square port cylinder heads.  This cam can make over 700hp at the flywheel, naturally aspirated on a 400-430" shortblock using high compression pistons. Should run in the 5.30's-5.50's range in the 1/8 mile in a 3000+ lb chassis and has run as fast as a 5.10 1/8 mile pass using the same dyno-tested TFS 245 heads and a Mast intake.

Since this cam utilizes engine dyno and Spintron tested stable BTR in house developed cam lobes, it can turn 7500 rpm with our SP010 .685" lift springs (SK702) when using sub 105 gram valves. Use of our .685"  (SK703) kit when shimmed to 1.700", allows it to turn 8000 rpm assuming lightweight valves (sub-105-gram) and OE rocker arms. Roller rockers will NOT turn as many RPMs as the stock rockers will due to additional weight.  Good lifters should be used like the Johnson short/limited travel type or similar. Very aggressive idle.
